Terms of use
Effective October 27, 2026. These terms are an agreement between you and Histamine Health LLC. By using SkinAlly you agree to them.
1. Educational information, not medical advice
SkinAlly gives general educational information about ingredients related to contact allergens. It does not diagnose, treat, or replace care from your doctor. Using the app does not create a doctor-patient relationship, including with the app’s author. Follow your own doctor’s advice for your situation.
2. Information can be incomplete or wrong
Product information comes from Open Beauty Facts (a community database), retailer product listings, FDA drug labels (DailyMed) and what you scan or type. It may be incomplete, out of date or misread. Companies change their formulas without notice, and versions sold in different stores or countries can differ. “None of your allergens found” means none were found in the ingredients we had; it does not mean a product is safe for you. Always read the label on the product you buy.
3. Your allergen list is your responsibility
Results depend on the allergens you select or load from a clinician’s code. Confirm them with your doctor.
4. Subscriptions
Some features require a paid subscription or purchase, billed by Apple or Google through your account. A free trial, when offered, turns into a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. Subscriptions renew automatically at the price shown until you cancel. Manage or cancel them in your device’s account settings. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.
5. Store links and commissions
Some “Where to buy” links are affiliate links, and we may earn a commission on purchases. Commissions never affect which products we show or how we rank them. Purchases are between you and the store.
6. Acceptable use
Don’t copy, resell, or reverse-engineer the app or its data, or use it to build a competing database.
7. Ownership
The app, its text, handouts and allergen rules belong to Histamine Health LLC. Product data from Open Beauty Facts is available under the Open Database License, and product photos from Open Beauty Facts under CC BY-SA. FDA drug label data is public information from the U.S. government.
8. No warranty
The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, including accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose, to the extent the law allows.
9. Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, Histamine Health LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any harm from relying on information in the app. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months before the claim.
10. Changes and ending
We may update these terms; continuing to use the app means you accept the new version. You can stop using the app at any time by deleting it.
11. Governing law
Missouri law governs these terms, and disputes go to the state or federal courts located in St. Louis County, Missouri.
